Uku Pacha: Meeting Your Ancestors

  • Oasis: Community Wellbeing Hub 33 W Walnut St Ste 200 Bethlehem, PA 18018 United States (map)

Every choice you have made, every wound you have carried, every gift that moves through you — none of it began with you. It came through you. From a line of people who faced their own winters and found a way through. Who built something with their lives — even when those lives were hard, even when the lineage was complicated, even when the inheritance was a mix of wisdom and wound.

For my ancestors, Uku Pacha is the inner world — the realm beneath the surface of things, where memory lives, where the roots of the lineage run deep, where what has not yet been completed across generations waits for someone in the living line to receive it. This is not a place of fear. It is the most intimate place there is.

On this night, the veil between the worlds is thin. Not as folklore — as a lived reality that every tradition on earth has recognized in its own way for as long as humans have walked this land. The ancestors are close. And they have things to give you that cannot be passed through ordinary time.

Ceremonial cacao opens the channels between worlds. The breathwork clears the body so the lineage can move through it. And the journey takes you into Uku Pacha — not to dwell in what was painful, but to receive what was always meant to reach you. The gifts. The unfinished business. The knowing that has been traveling through your bloodline looking for someone ready to carry it forward.

That someone is you.
