My Roots: Ancestral Wisdom, Healing, and the Path Back to Myself

My Journey from Trauma to Transformation & the Call to Guide Others

My family’s history tracks back to the lineages of the Amazonian and Andean people of Ecuador, where ancient traditions have carried healing wisdom for generations. A land where the rainforest and the mountains are sacred teachers. The connection to this land, the plants, the history—these were the first lessons passed down, even as other areas of life pulled me away.

Growing up, I felt the quiet hum of my ancestors, but I didn’t fully understand it yet. It wasn’t until life’s hardships—trauma, loss, and deep emotional wounds—forced me to seek something beyond what I knew that I realized the wisdom I needed was already within me, waiting to be remembered.

Remembering that wisdom is what birthed my work today. By weaving the medicine of my heritage into immersive guided meditation journeys, somatic breathwork, and ancestral rituals, I create a warm, sacred space for individuals and conscious teams to untangle from the daily noise, clear out heavy energy (Hucha), and reclaim their own authentic truth.

The Path of Healing – Trauma, Loss & Transformation

Like many, I have walked through fire - grief, loss, and the weight of trauma. These experiences carved deep wounds, but they were also the stepping stones to profound healing.

For years, I carried pain that felt impossible to release. It manifested in anxiety, physical stress, and a deep disconnection from myself. I tried to push through, to suppress, to keep moving forward. But my body, mind, and spirit were calling for something deeper: a return to my roots and a reconnection with myself.

It was through returning to ancestral medicine and somatic practices that I started to find a way back to my truth, my voice, to myself. Guided by the wisdom of my heritage, I began to understand that healing isn’t about erasing pain, it’s about learning to hold it with compassion, process it, and release the heavy, stagnant energy that keeps us trapped in survival mode.

What This Journey Has Taught Me So Far:

  • Pain is not permanent.

  • The body holds memories and tension that need to be acknowledged, honored, and physically released.

  • Breath is a sacred gateway to presence, deep inner peace, and grounding the nervous system.

  • Healing is cyclical, moving in perfect rhythm with nature itself.

From My Healing to Yours – Why I Guide Others

After experiencing the profound impact of ancestral practices, somatic breathwork, and self-journeying, I knew this path was meant to be shared. My journey led me to create Good Vibes Wellness as a sanctuary for others seeking their own clarity, depth, and transformation.

The truth is, healing is not a final destination where we arrive and suddenly have it all figured out. I am still walking this path, still learning, and still evolving right alongside you. We heal from past traumas, but life keeps moving, and new challenges will always show up. My work isn't about teaching you how to be perfect; it's about remembering how to return to yourself, clear the heavy weight, and move forward when life gets noisy.

Through individual sessions, immersive group journeys, and conscious corporate gatherings, I help others:

  • Put down the heavy weight of everyday expectations to hear the sound of their own true voice.

  • Clear out the stagnant energy and deep physical stress that accumulates from moving too fast in a noisy world.

  • Build a grounded, resilient practice rooted in ancient wisdom, so you can navigate whatever life throws at you next.

We will always have things to heal, but we do not have to carry them alone. I invite you to step into this space, put down the armor, and navigate this journey with me.

how to return home to yourself,
over and over again.”
